1778; service to Jan. 1, 1779,6 mos. 10‘days, at Rhode Island; also, descriptive
list of men raised in Middlesex CO.to serve in the Continental Army for the term
of 9 months, returned as received of Justin Ely, Commissioner, by Capt. James
Cooper, at Springfield, July 19, 1779; Capt. Bridge’s[?] co, Col. Faulkner’s
regt.; age, 22 yrs.; stature, 5 ft. 8 in.; engaged for town of Lexington; reported

for wages for May—Aug.[year not given], appearing in a register of orders

David Prescott (1751-1813)

Groton. Private, Capt. Asa Lawrence’s co. of Minute-men,

which marched on the alarm of April 19,1775,to headquarters at Cambridge;
service, 6 days; reported enlisted into the army; also, Capt. Asa Lawrence’s
co., Col. William Prescott’s regt.; muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted
April 25, 1775; service, 3 mos. S days; also, company return dated Oct. 6, 1775;
also, order for bounty coat or its equivalent in money dated Cambridge, Oct.
30, 1775; also, account showing sums of money to be paid from the public
treasury to sundry persons for losses sustained at battles of Lexington and
Bunker Hill ; amounts allowed in Council June 13,1776; also, Private, Capt.
Joshua Parker’s co., Col. Robinson’s regt.; enlisted Aug. 2, 1777; Service to
Jan. 1, 1778,at Rhode Island.


Stephen Wright (1764-1857)

Littleton. No entry in MSSRW but his pension submitted in 1855 states he enlisted in the Continental Army in July 1780 for 3 months and served in Col. Cyprian How's Company.
